Fall for this Healthy Veggie Turkey chili~
Monday, October 15, 2018
Praise Jesus for the fall season and fit football exercises and fresh veggie turkey chili season!! YAY! My favorite chili recipe includes your fav fresh or frozen veggies, ground turkey breast and tons of beans giving you and your family and friends a warm, healthy, colorful protein rich soup to share~
Veggie Turkey Chili recipe-
-Brown in 2 tbsp coconut oil in large chili pot with 4 finely chopped garlic cloves, 1 large chopped onion or easy frozen onions and 5+ chopped olives
-Brown 1 lb turkey breast adding preferred spices-pepper, sea salt, Italian seasoning, chili seasoning, cayenne pepper for heat
-Add your favorite chopped fresh or frozen veggies-the more the merrier! I use frozen broccoli, green beans, red, yellow green peppers-all from easy frozen bags, peas, chopped and sliced carrots, chopped kale, anything you like!
-Add 3 cans fav strained and rinsed beans-black, kidney, white or garbanzo beans
-Add 1 large can organic crushed tomatoes
-Add 2 to 3 cups turkey bone broth depending on thickness of chili you desire
-Add more chili powder and cayenne if you like it hot and stir!
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until you need to have a cup. I top with grated block goat cheese and sometimes serve over more kale😊
Please keep eating naturally, add more veggies to everyday dishes and enjoy life!! Thank you for praying for those who struggle in life with unhealthy habits and addictions and God will heal you too!
