I am not much of a football fan, however, I used this years game to throw together quick, healthy, natural snack ideas to talk about today! Eat naturally means to eat more foods that God made which heal, fuel and feed our cells than the fake, processed foods that hurt us and make us sick and diseased. God gave us so many healthy, healing fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, herbs and seeds to eat! Here are some healthy ideas for your next get together~ Remember to take care of your temple, your body! 1 Corinthians 6:19 - Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? Amen! Let's work on taking care of our temple together with these wholesome snack ideas.

Spinach salad with walnuts or almonds, blueberries, goat cheese-Buy pre-washed spinach and add to large serving bowl. Add small pieces of walnuts, and blueberries or sliced strawberries. Sprinkle dabs of goat cheese onto salad-I use about half the log package of goat cheese or more according to your taste. When we stir this salad together the goat cheese acts as a dressing. Sometimes I also pour a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil on salad and toss.

Deviled eggs with Primal Kitchen Avocado oil mayo -I love deviled eggs! Now I can eat them without feeling guilty. I boil eggs for 5 minutes, leave in pot after for 5 minutes, then rinse in cool water and let cool down. Next, cut eggs lengthwise and scoop out cooked yolk into a small bowl. Mix a few tablespoons to taste of the Primal Kitchen avocado oil mayo-remember less is best. Add finely chopped celery, pimentos, jalapenos if desired, sea salt, pepper and mix together. Spoon mixture back into empty eggs and sprinkle with paprika or cayenne pepper if you like the heat! You can also add any of your favorite finely chopped additions you think make a good egg:)

9 Layer Dip-one of my healthy favorites! Rinse canned black beans in water with a strainer. Place beans in bottom of baking dish. Add whatever Mexican topings you enjoy-I add chopped onions, organic easy frozen corn, finely chopped red, green, yellow peppers from freezer or fresh, chopped garlic, jalapenos if you like heat, anything else you would like to add. Top with cheddar block goat cheese for a low fat, low calorie, low lactose cheese or grate your favorite cheese on top. Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes and serve with Beanitos bean chips.

Veggie Turkey balls-I used half a pound ground turkey and place into a bowl. Add chopped onions, red, green, yellow peppers, chopped spinach or kale, chopped garlic, ½ cup bread crumbs or ground flax seed, any other favorite veggies and one whisked egg. (I actually used all my eggs on the deviled egg recipe so I used a tbs coconut oil and they still turned out great!) Add any seasonings-I added turmeric, cayenne, oregano, sea salt and pepper. Mix together with hands then roll small balls and place on non stick baking sheet. Bake veggie turkey balls at 400 for 25 minutes-I cooked this together with the 9 layer dip. Such a hit!!

Easy Guacamole-Scoop out meat of one soft, brown avocado into small serving bowl. Using a fork, strain out salsa from favorite salsa jar, preventing the liquid from being added to the avocado. Mix and add chopped garlic, jalapenos and a splash of lemon juice to prevent discoloration. Serve with healthy Beanitos white or black bean chips!

Healthy potato chips cooked in coconut oil and healthy yogurt and onion dip-I loved Deans sour cream dip, however, I like to come up with healthy substitutes to milk. So I found I can mix a half an envelope of Lipton’s onion soup mix with 1 Goat’s milk yogurt and one vanilla Silk soy or almond milk yogurt for a tasty, healthy substitute! I also found Honest Jackson potato chips cooked in coconut oil to eat with my dip. There’s always a healthy substitute.

Offer slices of sweet fiji apples, navel oranges and other healthy fruit choices!

Serve sparkling water or regular water with splash of lemon juice in wine glass and think about how healthy you are making your football friends!

Let me know how these turn out at your next party~
