Following our Kate's Faith and Fitness annual calendar we begin each year with our 21-day New Years fast to help us realize God alone is our source. Next we receive and embrace God’s unconditional love to then focus on showering others with the same amazing love! Now let’s talk about our new identity found in Him.

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, your core identity is that you are a child of God. Ephesians 1:5-6 says He predestined and lovingly planned for us to be adopted to Himself as [His own] children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the kind intention and good pleasure of His will— 6 to the praise of His glorious grace and favor, which He so freely bestowed on us in the Beloved [His Son, Jesus Christ]! And John 1:12 reminds us: “But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God.” When we say yes to Jesus and choose to follow Him we can read in His Word who we are and what we have in Him! It’s like winning the lottery for sure! When I came back to the Lord in 2010, I made my own collection of Identity in Christ scriptures and taped it to my bathroom mirror to read every morning! What a great way to start the day~
